A great sunset at Aqua Moon in Negril, Jamaica

Sunset Thoughts

October 25th, 1998

In the beauty that is Negril Jamaica, one's thoughts often return to dazzling displays of energy that Mother Nature provides. Be it the blazing stars at night with its thin veil called the Milky Way or the incredible blue morning sky and sea before you, thoughts drift into a state of awe at Nature's inspiring beauty. Even the uncontrollable powers of a hurricane can provoke new thoughts, new ideas. But none of these images has the effect that does the nightly pastel play - an evening's sunset over the Caribbean. Coming right at the time when day turns to night, the mystical hues and shades make for an ever-changing cavalcade of colors. Sometimes bold, sometimes subdued, sunsets play an important role in Negrl, Jamaica. This week's Sunday Sunset of the Week was provided by the fine folks at Aqua Moon Beach Villa - soon to be a Beingee's sponsor! Daily Music News: sorry about the lack of a Sunday night broadcast, but I made a error in judgement about 6:30pm Sunday evening. After the full day broadcast on Sunday live from Hurricane Mitch (a non-event, trust me), I hit the bed to catch a quick nap before heading to the Sunday Night broadcast from the Negril Yacht Club. As happens to many of you on a Negril vacation, I didn't wake up until about 12:30am - so I slept through the whole thing. Sorry mon, hopefully that won't happen on Monday night's live show from Risky Business, starting around 9:30pm. Checking the Negril Message Board (found off the Main Menu - link is above and below) as the time aproaches for details on how to be part of the online fun (watch, listen and chat) on the NEN (Negril Entertainment Network)!

At 8:10am - a small breeze in the morning... The temperature is 75° F, 24° C.
