West End Beach in Negril, Jamaica

West End Beach

July 23rd, 1998

The West End in Negril is famous for its majestic cliffs - jutting ruggedly out the sparkeling Caribbean. But there are a few beaches along the West End Road just before the cliffs begin their rise from the sea. There is one by the Negril Yacht Club and then one last small beach across from Mi Yard at Tigress Court. It is used mainly by the fishermen in the area. You can find some great fresh fish and lobster along that stretch of beach - just ask one of the locals when the fishermen will be returning for the day! Note: Thursday night's NEN broadcast has been rain delayed. Sorry mon - but that happens sometimes during rainy season. Back Ah Yawd is new Thursday - click on Back Ah Yard for Thursday's episode!

At 7:59pm - the evening time begins! The temperature is 78° F, 25° C.
