Irene's Display #2

October 14th, 1999

On Thursday you will notice that Hurricane Irene has moved far enough as to stop the heavy rains experienced on Wednesday. Although there was still some intermittent rains, the heavy seas were now becoming a factor. As Irene moved its way over Cuba, Negril was beginning to feel some wave action, as the above picture shows. Please note that the beach and hills of Hanover are now visable - unlike yesterday's picture! Daily Music News: Needless to say, the weather forming near Jamaica will be putting a damper on this week's Negril Entertainment Network schedule. Look for a return on Friday - and remember to keep checking the Negril Message Board for more current updates and details on how to join in the webcast and live chat from Negril, Jamaica!

At 5:30pm - cloud cover. The temperature is 82° F, 26° C.
