This morning we took a visit to the elementary school Harding Hall in Hanover (Negril resides in two Parishes, Westmoreland and Hanover). Miss Urwin's classroom computer was "sick" and with the replacement CD ROM drive provided by Mr. Lyndon Jackson (owner of Catcha Falling Star), we were able to make the classroom's computer "well" again! A big up to Mr. Jackson for his support of Harding Hall - spare parts are hard to come by since computing has just recently taken a strong foothold on our tropical island - the land of wood and water (and as the children learned this week, the Blue Mahoe). Daily music note: the NEN (Negril Entertainment Network) had a great night of Caribbean fun on Tuesday at the Sunset Show at Mariner's Inn . The NEN may be broadcasting some IRIE FM on Wednesday night compliments of the Negril Cyber Cafe and Catcha Falling Star.
