The only word of caution to travelers that I will offer is to realize that the driving customs in Negril are much different than those of the U.S. While we allow pedestrians the right of way and watch out for bicycle riders, etc., in Negril, it seemed as if it were every man for himself! I would just advise travelers to be careful while walking or riding a bike +/or motor-scooter. As one of my new Jamaican friends said about the rules of the road, "Big doesn't respect little."
