Holiday Hawker

As you stroll down the Negril beach on what is fondly called the "other beach road", businesses along the way offering specials during your stay will place temporary signs out mentioning their specials! In addition to the signs, some places hire the equivalent of the "sideshow hawker" to grab your attention! Some of them can literally grab your attention as the hawker at Fun Holiday strives to do! His nickname is Duppy and you never know what Duppy is going to do or say next! As you walk past the 2 for 1 seafood specials at Fun Holiday Seaside Restaurant and Bar, Duppy will more than likely be entertaining! Duppy has what you might call a colorful past and he is excellent at catching you off guard, coming out from behind a sign or pretending to be asleep at one of the tables as he jumps up and starts his fast paced patois. If you want to continue your walk down the beach before Duppy is finished, which has been known to happen, be sure ask him for one of the 2 for 1 special pamphlets and say, "Thanks Duppy, but we're late for a Beingee's Internet meeting. Got to go see Rob and Crazy Joe" and continue your stroll. Make sure and say "we're late" even if you are alone. Crazy Joe and I are curious to see how long it will be before Duppy asks what is going on?!?! Joe and I have been thinking of a fun way to catch Duppy in an Internet practical joke, so please don't let him in on the joke!
