A Jamaican Friend

When you ask repeat visitors to Jamaica why they keep coming back to the island, the overwhelming response you receive is "the people"! And the people are what make Jamaica what it is, and gives Negril it's own intimate setting. Even after all the growth that has occurred worldwide since the 1960's, when the young Americans and Brits known as hippies "discovered" a small fishing village on the western edge of Jamaica called Negril, the intimate feeling is still alive. Take a second and say "Hello!" as you pass someone on the street and you may be rewarded with a new friend! As the saying goes, a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet! And no where is that more true than in Jamaica mon! We would like to thank Kingstonmon and Linda for today's Negril Today picture of a 3 year old Jamaican beauty, Olivia, one of their new Jamaican friends!
