Michelle's Sea
November 5th, 2001
As Hurricane Michelle built strength and headed into Cuba, Jamaica was catching the outer bands of the hurricane. Although Negril was spared the usual winds and rains that accompany these tropical wonders, Michelle sent her greeting in the form of overcast skys and rough seas! Today's Negril Today picture can only begin to show the power the Mother Ocean can wield! Although this is a rare occurance, we have featured it on the Negril Today page in the past. In fact, one of the first pages we ever posted on Negril Today was of a nearly identical day back in 1996 at Xtabi on the West End! Click here to take a look at a true blast from the past!
Daily Music News: The Negril Entertainment Network's weekly webcast and chat will continue on Wednesday at noon from Fun Holiday with Crazy Joe and at 6:30pm from The Easy Rock Bar & Grill for the Calling All Negril Women gathering as part of the upcoming Board Meeting Daze events! For more information about future NEN events and the Beingee's Board Meeting Daze, which are held on Tuesdays at sunset and Wednesday at noon, keep checking here, the Shows & Events listing or the Negril Message Board for all NEN live shows! At 10:27pm - the sound of the sea in the distance... The temperature is 82° F, 28° C.
