It was a busy day on the beach as the weekly Wednesday Negril Crew gathered at Fun Holiday Seafood Restaraunt and Bar! Today's "Board Meeting Daze" gathering was a good size one that included familiar regulars, excited new posters and even a few lurkers, all those that make up our Negril Online Community. Later in the day, around sunset, Sue at the Easy Rock Internet Cafe, Restarant and Bar held a "Calling All Negril Women" get together - a chance for women to meet in a relaxed atmosphere and share their thoughts and insights with each other. Coming from a family of 5 sisters, I was prepared for a proper male bashing session, but as the live NEN webcast showed, it was a rewarding time for all and the NEN was careful to maintain each individuals' privacy. (Besides, by placing the stereo speaker under the microphone helped to cover any possible conversations - grin). All in all it was a great time and from the smiling faces, look for Sue to continue these gatherings on a once a month basis - the first Wednesday of each month starting at 6:30pm!
