If you are looking for a true Jamaican taste sensation on Negril's West End, you would be hard pressed to find a better spot than 3-Dives! Located on the cliffs next to Xtabi, Lloydie and Paula make arguably the best jerk sauce in Jamaica! As you can see from today's Negril Today picture, there are alot of Boardies who agree with that claim! In order to prove it once and for all, Lloydie asked about planning a Jamaican Jerk Coof Off - inviting other jerk vendors to compete for the 3-Dives 2002 Best Jerk Trophy! The winner would keep the annual honor until the next champion is chosen! Although Lloydie initially envisioned this Jerk Cook Off as an inter-island event, after he read through the posts this past week on the Negril Message Board about Jamaican Jerk style restaurants all over the world, 3-Dives wants to extend their invitation to any restuarant, chef, person, group or organization who thinks their jerk specialty is the best on the planet! Don't limit the creations to just chicken or pork, but let you imagination run wild! The tentative date is set for early to mid November - please email your thoughts about this event and possible date, or if you would like to enter the contest!
