Happy Halloween from the Jungle!
Happy Halloween from The Jungle!

October 31st, 2001

Although Halloween is not known as a Jamaican holiday, that doesn't mean that they don't know how to set up a Halloween party! On Wednesday night at The Jungle, they pulled out all the stops! As you went through the entrance, you had your chance to get made up with face paint or a mask. Then, as you entered the darkened entrance, a ghoulish figure in a black robe jumped out to scare the wits out of you! What a perfect way to get in the mood! Downstairs, the air conditioned the disco was filled with costumed patrons dancing and upstairs the NEN held very special webcast that featured the new Mr. and Mrs. Spliffy from Ohio, USA! It was a wild time for all, and it looks to me that adult Jamaicans now have a new opportunity to dress up and act like kids again! Next year can only be bigger and better - if Halloween is your thing, make it Negril and The Jungle!

Daily Music News: The Negril Entertainment Network had a great chat on Wednesday at noon from Fun Holiday with Crazy Joe during the weekly Board Meeting Daze and a second session including a Halloween webcast from The Jungle! For more information about future NEN events and the Beingee's Board Meeting Daze, which are held on Tuesday and Wednesday, keep checking here, the Shows & Events listing or the Negril Message Board for all NEN live shows! As the time for each live NEN event approaches, check for details on the Negril Message Board. These posts will guide you through the procedure to join in the live web cast and chat in the Negril Chat Room. To make it to the Negril Message Board click on the Main Menu above or below and then look for the Negril Message Board link!
