The days of old that Harry Belafonte brought to life with his Banana Boat Song are gone, but the banana boats still make an appearence in the harbor in Port Antonio. No more are the boats stocked by men and women waiting for their bananas to be tallied, the loading is now done by modern machinery. Gone also is the tallyman himself.
