On January 25th to the 27th, Negril hosted the 9th Annual Negril Sprint Triathlon organized by the Negril Triathlon committee and the Jamaica Tourist Board! The course was made up of a three quarter mile swim in the Caribbean, a 15 mile cycle race (shown here coming over the bridge near the roundabout) and a 4 mile run to bring home the victory! It was a great competition with the male and female winners both coming fromPennsylvania, USA! We would like to congratulate Fred Klevan and Cecily Tynan for being the over all winners! The ceremony was held at Long Bay Beach with pomp, circumstance and reggae filling the air! What a race, what a place - come to Negril and experience it all! See you soon!
