Gail Jackson Generosity

On the 27th, I had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of the distribution of the latest batch of the school supply donations that Gail has collected at the Negril Tree House to the Unity Primary School outside Savanna La Mar! Gail brought Sher, the hair braider at the Negril Tree House and Cynthia, the reservations manager at the Negril Tree House to help her make sure the teachers and the library received items appropriate and needed for their incredibly well behaved students! Afterwards, Gail said a few words of encouragement to the students over the PA system, and the students responded from their classrooms with a combined "Thank you Mrs. Jackson!" I felt gifted to have been part of the experience. On the drive back Gail and I discussed how it is only a "drop in the bucket" of what is needed, but with enough drops, the bucket will fill. If you would like to help add more "drops" to this educational "bucket", please feel free to bring children's school supplies including childrens books and magazines with you and stop by and deliver them to the Negril Tree House, which has some fabulous food by the way. Gail has offered to collect specially needed items for the Torrington Early Childhood Centre, which is more of a pre-school than the Unity Primary School shown above. Any and all donations will be put to great use - as Gail says, "every little bit helps." Thank you Gail, every little bit does help, and your generosity and caring that seems to come naturally to you as breathing, that "little bit" goes that much farther. Note: Gail is shown above in the middle of the photo helping the teachers get the supplies that they needed the most, with the school and students shown in the background. Thank you Gail!
