Wednesday was a busy one as Wavz in Negril held the Hawaiian Tropic contest in the afternoon sun. It was a hot one both in the air and on stage! After some stiff competition, the winner to represent Negril Spring Break 2001 was Ann Marie for U of Mass. in the USA! Vibe Magazine was there covering the event as well as other media outlets. Congratulations Anne Marie - and do Negril proud when you attend Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2001 Spring Break Hawaiian Tropic Finals! But the party didn't stop there! Later Wednesday night the Negril Entertainment Network along with Vibe Magazine brought you the Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam and Phat Farm Fashion Show and concert with TOK and Sean Paul live from Wavz! When the concert ended at about 2am, the Breakers kept the party going at the newly open The Jungle on the beach road! All in all it was a great day!
