Lighthouse!

September 17th, 1999

Today we want to feature the first of a set of pictures that we received by email from Jim in California, USA! This picture, taken on Negril's Wild West End, shows a great view of the historic Negril Lighthouse. At about 100 foot tall, the solar powered lighthouse has protected ships for years! Also shown is a cannon that rumor has it was raised from one of the old pirate wrecks off the cliffs of Negril! A big up to Jim, and look for another of his great shots on tomorrow's Negril Today page! Daily Music News: Once again, because of weather conditions over the island, the Negril Entertainment Network is postponing their webcast and chat until things clear up. As soon as the this happens, the NEN will be back! Until then, keep watching the Negril Message Board for most current information!

At 11:19pm - a cool evening. The temperature is 80° F, 26° C.
