Negril Christmas 1999 Party

On Friday December 10th, 1999, it was one of those days that will not be soon forgot! Preachermon and Miss Regina put together a special Christmas '99 Party for the children of Negril. Over 500 children and adults filled the Yacht Club grounds, this picture showing the children seeing what each other got as a gift. They were supposed to wait until they got back to school, but kids should be kids! Please note that all the presents distrubuted to the children all came from donations from you - our Internet Negril family! Others not to be over looked for their help are Air Jamaica, whose last minute donation made the day happen and the Negril Yacht Club for supplying the facilities. Celect Hotel Supplies supplied all the napkins and utensils, Mr. Slice for his fabulous pizza, Mr. Dudley Rose for his help with storage, Talrich Enterprises for the rice and peas and an anonymous chicken donor! Thank one and all! Daily Music News: The Negril Entertainment Network's second test of their new equipment on Saturday smoothed out many of the small problems - but interest was so high that we kept running into our Server limitations. That will soon be corrected. Look for a possible late afternoon webcast of IRIE FM on Sunday from Eddie's Tigress II but no promises mon, we may use the time to finalize all our necessary new hardware settings!
