Alfredo's Sunset

March 4th, 2001

As the sun sets, one is naturally intrigued by the sky's shift from day into night. The transition that takes place each evening can be spectacular, ever changing shades filling the darkening sky to the horizon. As the sun slips behind the sea, the pastels colors signal the beginning of the night. Enjoy the sight, it is more than the end of the daylight, but the start of another hot Negril night - full of music, food and good times. A new day comes as the night draws to a close. It is the way of all things, an ever continuing cycle of endings and beginnings - and the beauty is there for all to see, you just have to be willing to look. This week's Sunset of the Week was emailed to us by Alfredo from Italy. He took this picture at Mariner's Inn on the cliffs. Thanks Alfedo! If you would like to share a picture you have taken in Jamaica, please feel free to email us a JPG file of the picture along with a little info about the picture and we will try to place it on our Negril Today page! Irie!
