Negril Today
Blueout
October 3rd, 1997
For those of you who have been wondering what a "blueout" is, this picture taken at the Charela Inn should explain it. A blueout occurs in Negril whenever the sky and the water are so similar in color that you cannot tell where one begins and the other ends. Yah mon! Blueout! We are looking forward to this week's Negril Sunday Brunch. It will be held this Sunday, October 5th from noon to 3:00pm at Long Bay Beach, a short beach walk from Beaches, Sandals and Swept Away. Come on out mon! Sponsored by the Negril Chamber of Commerce and the Jamaica Hotel and Tourist Association, join us on the beach - learn about Jamaican ways and culture while being entertained by the G.M.C. Singers. A free rum punch with every meal! Delroy, Garth and Rob from Beingee's will also be there! If you have been wanting to get a picture taken for the Internet, this is place to be! Today's Back Ah Yawd will take you to our Back Ah Yawd index page. From there you can click on any of the episodes that you missed. Click above on Back Ah Yawd to chack it out.
At 8:22 am, a peaceful morning. The temperature is 78° F, 25° C.
